Documentation and age of the hirer and/or driver
The hirer and additional driver/drivers must be over 23 years old and hold a driving license class B for more than 2 years. The motorhome will be collected ONLY by the hirer.
It is compulsory to show the hirer and possible drivers’ identifying documents 48 hours prior to the start date of your rental. Eurovan 2000 will be likewise able to demand, if necessary, any other indentifying document.
Booking and deposit
In order to confirm the booking, it is essential to pay 30% of the total rental price and to have an express confirmation of Eurovan 2000. In order to collect the motorhome the total price must have been paid before the collecting or must be paid right at this moment, such as the 600 euros deposit.
Cancellation
30 days before the start date, a penalty of 50% of the booking.
Between 29 and 16 days before the start date, a penalty of 80% of the booking.
Less than 15 days before the start date, a penalty of 100% of the booking.
Insurance
Motorhomes have an all risk insurance with an excess of 600 euros. In case of accident the hirer must pay only the charges of his own damages under the amount of the excess, unless the guilty is a third person. In this case, there is a full cover, as long as the accident report is filled out correctly and signed by both parties involved.
Cleaning
Motorhomes are delivered completely sanitized and ready to use. They must be returned in the same condition and with the residual tanks empty. If you wish, you can contract these services for 60 and 30 euros respectively.
Traffic fines and sanctions
The hirer takes responsibility for any fine, sanction and other responsibilities caused by breaking the existing laws concerning traffic or other subjects.
Breakdowns
In case of breakdown or damage, the hirer must inform compulsory Eurovan 2000 the next 12 hours after noticing the problem. This notification is extremely important to the company, in order to obtain the required materials to fix the breakdown.
The ABSENCE OF NOTIFICATION could entail a delay in the collecting date of next hirer, so that the company shall ask the hirer for an extra rental day.
Fuel and maintenance
The fuel charges must be paid by the hirer. Maintenance charges, oil change and others must be paid by the company. It is the hirer responsibility to check levels every 3,000 km. All repairs over 100 euros must be authorized by the company.
Collection, return and non-used periods
The collection and return of the motorhome will be on the place, date and time agreed in the rental contract. The company reserves the right to incur existing supplements in case of failure of said clause.
Non-used rental periods or returning the vehicle before the return date will not mean any refund to the hirer.
